Jan Tabecki was born in 2000 in Warsaw (Poland). Between 2007 and 2019 he attended the 'Karol Szymanowski Music School No.4' in Warsaw, from which he graduated in the piano class of Maria Palmowska – Guz. He accomplished his Bachelors Degree at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, under the guidance of Caroline Palmer.

Biography

Jan Tabecki was born in 2000 in Warsaw (Poland). Between 2007 and 2019 he attended the ‘Karol Szymanowski Music School No.4’ in Warsaw, from which he graduated in the piano class of Maria Palmowska – Guz. After accomplishing his Bachelor’s degree at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, under the guidance of Caroline Palmer, he began his Master’s Degree in Electronic and Produced Music in the same university.

He performed multiple times as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist in different countries such as Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Scotland and Poland, in venues such as Milton Court (London), Villa Wahnfried (Bayreuth), Sheldonian Theatre (Oxford), the National Philharmonic (Warsaw) and the Tauron Arena (Cracow).

In 2016 he performed with the experimental contemporary group 'ImproContra’ in Basel (Switzerland) and recently, he has been employed as a accompanist in Pro Corda violin course in Leiston Abbey, directed by Sebastian Mueller.

Jan is also building his career as a keyboardist. From 2022, Jan is a member of Bauhaus Band directed by John Harle as well as the London Film Music Orchestra with which he gives multiple concerts around UK and Europe.

Over the years he had the opportunity to receive tuition from internationally acclaimed musicians such as Irene Veneziano, Noriko Ogawa, Hakan Hardenberger, Ralf Gothóni, Jacqueline Ross, Sebastian Mueller,Bretton Brown, Evan Rothstein, Krysia Osostowicz, Simon Wills, John Harle, Paul Roberts, Wojciech Świtała, Karol Radziwonowicz, Wojciech Dębicz and Michał Tokaj.

In 2019, I had the pleasure of performing first movement of Paderewski’s Piano Concerto in A minor in the Chopin University Concert Hall in Warsaw.
