Krzysztof Jakowicz - an outstanding Polish violinist, highly regarded by Witold Lutosławski, who entrusted the artist with the Polish premieres of his violin works (Chain II, Partita in the version with orchestra, Subito). Krzysztof Jakowicz also performed them under the baton of the composer in important music centers of the world.

He took part in many world-renowned festivals: Warsaw Autumn, Berliner Festspiele, Music in Old Kraków, festivals in Edinburgh, London, Schleswig-Holstein, Bregenz and others. He has performed with famous orchestras, including the English Chamber Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic, Wiener Symphoniker, Orquesta Nacional de España, WDR Sinfonieorchester Köln, BBC Scottish Symphony, Orchestre National de France, Polish Chamber Orchestra, National Philharmonic Orchestra, National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, Polish Radio Amadeus Chamber Orchestra.

Over the years of his career, he has collaborated with outstanding artists of different generations, such as Riccardo Chailly, Jerzy Semkow, Pinchas Steinberg, Kazimierz Kord, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Jacek Kaspszyk, Tadeusz Strugała, Marek Pijarowski, Agnieszka Duczmal, Bronisław Gimpel, Władysław Szpilman, Krystyna Borucińska, Jakub Jakowicz, Marcin Zdunik, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Robert Morawski, Waldemar Malicki, Daniel Olbrychski and many others.
